Started professional career as a DJ in the mid 80’s and became resident Video DJ at Numbers Dance Club when it was situated next to the old Beacon Bay Drive Inn in 1988.

After completing National Service (SANDF) in 1990, I once again became involved in the entertainment industry in East London with Beach Music Radio, hosting in house radio shows on the Orient Beach over December, Lock Street Gaol and Vincent Park Centre. At the same time I was also DJ’ing regularly at Jekyll and Hyde as well as MCing the Sunday night Karaoke evenings.

In 1993 I was invited to once again rejoin the Numbers Dance Club DJ Crew at Numbers on the Beach, where I worked alongside many of the then 5FM DJ’s and built up a reputation as a night club DJ.

I left the entertainment industry in 1999 but the love of music never waned and in 2007, I was invited to once again join the DJ Crew at the Numbers in the Hub venue for the Decades parties, this consisted of playing music from any and every genre. This carried on until Number’s closed in 2014.

After Numbers closed, a few of our old colleagues were contacted to put on fundraisers for our local SPCA, PET Pals and numerous other charities where we managed to assist in raising much needed funds.

In 2018, I was given residency at Abbottsford Arms to DJ on Saturday Nights, a residency that we still hold, with our crew today playing an eclectic mix of music to suit our ever changing clientele.
